Sea Cadets

The Sea Cadets are the biggest Uniformed Youth Organisation in the United Kingdom with 64 units in Northern Area alone.

All of these units provide a wide variety of topics available to cadets including:

Parade Training
Fire Prevention
Ships Routine
Basic Seamanship & Boat work
Physical Training
First Aid
Safety Within the Unit

A larger selection of courses are also available, both on water and dry land. From Rock Climbing to Shooting, IT to Communications and Music to Cook/Steward.

Although some subjects can be taught at local units, others may require you to go on a course at one of our Training Centres, which can be found all over the country.
